SEMCOM is a self financed college managed by Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM) and affiliated to Sardar Patel University which awards all the degrees. The college is an ISO 9001:2000 certified by ISOQAR, India The Chairman of CVM is Dr. C.L. Patel, a true visionary and inspirational leader. The SEMCOM fraternity consists of 37 faculty members and other supportive and office staff, led by Director & Principal Dr. Nikhil Zaveri. The college offers three-year Undergraduate courses in B. Com, BBA and BCA, a four-year UG course in BBA-ITM (Information Technology Management) and a two year Postgraduate course- Masters of e-Business.

SAPTAK Celebration:  SEMCOM celebrating SAPTAK as a part of JANO GUJARAT from 26th September 2010   

Academic Collaboration Between SEMCOM and Myers University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

In order to create learning opportunities at the global level, SEMCOM has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Myers University, USA. The collaboration is synergistic in nature in such a way that the students will have an opportunity to keep abreast with the changing times in pursuit of their academic goals. The students are expected to work in joint projects, seminars and workshops. The details are as follows:

  • 2-year MBA program with specialization in functional areas. This will be initially offered exclusively for the students of SEMCOM for its BBA program in Information Technology Management and Bachelor in Computer Applications (BCA).
  • All students who successfully pass the bachelors' degree in respective programs will be automatically admitted to the respective MBA program of Myers University subject to the pre-specified criteria.
  • Myers University will design, teach and manage the MBA parts of the program for which it takes full responsibility.
  • The students will pursue their 1-year or 2-year MBA at Myers University in USA.
  • Myers University will make arrangement for the studies of those students who get admission in Myers University but do not get student visa for pursuing MBA. In such case Myers University will make necessary arrangements so that students can pursue MBA at SEMCOM
  • Excellent and academically rewarding cultural exposure program will be initiated.
  • Faculty Exchange in the areas of Information Technology Management, and E-business may be encouraged.
